ANGRAU team to visit China soon

The state government will send a team of experts and officials from Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University to China shortly to study new methods of increasing agricultural production besides studying ways of providing alternate employment among other things.

Chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy told this to media after a luncheon meeting with the visiting Chinese delegation led by the vice-chairman of Hubei Provincial People's Congress Deng Daokun here on Tuesday.

During the brief meeting, the chief minister apprised the Chinese team of his government's efforts to revive the rural economy in the state, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, IT department officials offered to train officials of Hubei province in IT for three months in Chief Information Officer course at MCR HRD institute at Hyderabad. The delegation today visited the agricultural university.
