Jairam backs pension demands

Minister of rural development Jairam Ramesh, under whose ministry comes the National Old Age Pension Scheme, on Wednesday said he would take the demand of activists of Pension Parishad, led by National Advisory Council member Aruna Roy, to the PM and finance minister.
