KMC confirms 443 dengue cases in city
While 1641 cases were reported in preliminary tests

Altogether 443 confirmed dengue cases were reported in the city area, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Mayor-In-Council Atin Ghosh said on Monday.
While 1641 cases were reported in preliminary tests, the KMC was toying with the idea to recruit retired doctors on a contractual basis, Ghosh said.
The state health department already deputed 14 doctors to KMC as the civic body was running short of doctors, he said 443 confirmed cases had been reported since the outbreak of the disease in this season.
