 Total revenues of the sector reached $8.9 billion (Rs 40,050 crore) in 2003-04 compared to $7.1 billion (Rs 31,950 crore) in 2002-03.  The top 20 software and services exporters continued to account for nearly 65 per cent of the total infotech software and services exports from the country.  The combined revenue of the top 20 software and service exporters was Rs 26,464 crore in 2003-04, up 31.6 per cent from Rs 20,668 crores in 2002-03.  Commenting on the findings of the study, Kiran Karnik, president, Nasscom, said,
