10 Year Gilt Yield Drops Below 6%

The return of liquidity to the system and hopes of a possible bank rate cut pulled down the yields on government securities and corporate bonds today.
The yield on the benchmark 10-year bond (9.81 per cent 2013 paper) pierced the 6 per cent mark to touch 5.97 per cent, about 10 basis points lower than its Wednesday
