PNB Q3 net up 18%

Punjab National Bank (PNB) today reported a 17.87% increase in net profit at Rs 370.44 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 314.27 crore in Q3FY05.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,699.27 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 2,380.08 crore in Q3FY05.
