Ansal Properties jumps on higher realisations in Dec
Total sales grew by 10% year-on-year to 1.45 million sq ft and the total realisations have improved to Rs 1,534 per square feet from Rs 1,471 per square feet in December 2012.

Ansal Properties and Infrastructure has surged 5% to Rs 41 on back of heavy volumes after the Delhi-based real estate company said that its total sales grew by 10% year-on-year to 1.45 million sq ft and the total realisations have improved to Rs 1,534 per square feet from Rs 1,471 per square feet during the month of December 2012.
“The company has achieved the average realisation excluding the floor space index (FSI) of Rs 1,962 per square feet for the first nine months of FY13, which is about 26% higher than Rs 1,561 per square feet in the previous year” Ansal Properties said in a statement.
The stock opened at Rs 39.05 and hit a 52-week high of Rs 42.65 on the NSE. As many as a combined 1.53 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far against an average sub 15,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks.
