Refined soya oil futures up on spot demand

Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 2.10 to Rs 484 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders enlarged their positions in tandem with a firm trend in spot market amid low stocks.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June rose by Rs 2.10, or 0.44% to Rs 484 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of three lots.

Analysts said increased buying by speculators on rising spot market demand against fall in supplies from overseas market led to the rise in refined soya oil futures prices.
