The NSE Nifty is down 21 points at 5,172.
Bharti Airtel has plunged 3.5% to Rs 863. Maruti and Reliance Energy have tumbled nearly 3% each to Rs 762 and Rs 1,475, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates, Mahindra & Mahindra and DLF have shed 2.5% each at Rs 279, Rs 660 and Rs 689, respectively.
HDFC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 2,660. Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys and Tata Motors have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 482, Rs 3,085, Rs 1,762 and Rs 676, respectively.
Cipla and ITC have surged over 2% each to Rs 221 and Rs 225, respectively.
ONGC and HDFC Bank have gained 1% each at Rs 1,050 and Rs 1,545, respectively.
