Argentine striker Sergio Aguero was awarded the Player of the Year award from the Football Supporters' Federation.
The Manchester City striker Aguero was selected off a six man shortlist, which included teammate Yaya Toure, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Branislav Ivanovic, Raheem Sterling and Morgan Schneiderlin.
Aguero said that he was honoured to receive the award, adding that it was a special merit as it came from the fans, the Mirror reported.
Aguero has already scored 12 goals to lead the Premier League scoring charts.
