Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today took charge as Minister of Defence in the new administration here on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, Jailtey had taken charge as the Finance Minister.
President of India, Pranab Mukherjee as advised by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has directed the allocation of portfolios among members of the Union Council of Ministers.
