Consumer Durables shares fall

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index falling 234.31 points or 0.87% at 26640.08 at 13:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Voltas Ltd (down 1.76%), Titan Company Ltd (down 1.11%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 0.89%),Symphony Ltd (down 0.76%),Rajesh Exports Ltd (down 0.37%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Orient Electric Ltd (down 0.25%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.03%).

On the other hand, V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.75%), Blue Star Ltd (up 0.56%), and TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.44%) moved up.

 

At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 28.06 or 0.07% at 40391.29.

The Nifty 50 index was down 2.8 points or 0.02% at 11826.6.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 50.63 points or 0.35% at 14462.52.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 13.64 points or 0.27% at 4993.25.

On BSE,919 shares were trading in green, 1327 were trading in red and 161 were unchanged.
