Industrials stocks edge lower

Industrials stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Industrials index decreasing 1.46 points or 0.05% at 2909.53 at 13:49 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (down 12.78%), Titagarh Wagons Ltd (down 7.72%),Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd (down 5.83%),Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd (down 5.6%),Arshiya Ltd (down 5.44%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd (down 5.14%), Indiabulls Integrated Services Ltd (down 4.99%), Gayatri Projects Ltd (down 4.97%), SORIL Infra Resources Ltd (down 4.96%), and Gateway Distriparks Ltd (down 4.86%).

On the other hand, GMM Pfaudler Ltd (up 11.57%), Escorts Ltd (up 6.85%), and TCI Express Ltd (up 5.51%) turned up.

 

At 13:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 48.61 or 0.12% at 39784.14.

The Nifty 50 index was up 22.15 points or 0.19% at 11684.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 19.15 points or 0.13% at 14363.85.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 44.2 points or 0.9% at 4968.96.

On BSE,889 shares were trading in green, 1387 were trading in red and 154 were unchanged.
