10 of family die in Punjab accident

Ten members of a family died Tuesday when their car fell into an irrigation canal in Punjab's Amritsar district, said police.

The victims included five children and two women. The family belonged to Ferozepur district, 80 km from here, and had come here to attend a wedding.

The accident happened when the family was returning home.
