CBI books three officials of Delhi Jal Board

The CBI Thursday booked three officials of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for awarding a water management project at an exorbitant cost, an officer said.

The three DJB officers, a consultant group based in Nagpur and a consortium of leading companies were awarded water management project in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar area at an exorbitant cost, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer said.

"Searches have been conducted at nine places in Delhi and one in Nagpur. Incriminating documents were recovered," the officer added.
