Modi wishes Gujarat CM on birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday wished Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel "good health and a long life" on her 73rd birthday.

"Warm birthday wishes to Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel. May Almighty bless her with good health and a long life," Modi posted on his personal twitter account.

Patel succeeded Modi and became Gujarat's first woman chief minister in May.

She was born in 1941 in north Gujarat's Kharod village.
