Pakistan lodges protest with India over civilian death

Pakistan Wednesday lodged a protest with India through diplomatic channels over alleged cross border firing that killed a 70-year-old man.
The civilian was killed in Rawalkot sector "due to indiscriminate firing by the Indian forces", Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement.
"Condemning the incident, Pakistan called upon India to restrain its security forces from firing on civilians, and stop the ceasefire violations across the LoC and the Working (International) Boundary," the statement said.
