From year-long pleading to threats of indefinite strike, Kolkata’s mini-bus operators have now decided to resort to “Gandhigiri” to counter West Bengal chief minister’s so-called populist stand. Following their long-pending demands, the state government recently allowed a Rs 1 increase in fares for buses and mini-buses in the city.
