ACTA not to perform exam duty during summer vacation

ACTA Cachar Zonal Committee Secretary Sudarshan Gupta said they were left with no option but to take the decision as they had been repeatedly urging Assam University authorities to ensure that examinations and evaluation of answer scripts were held on time.

ACTA had submitted a memorandum to the AU Vice Chancellor on September nine and December 17, 2011 requesting the authorities for timely examination schedules.

"We also participated in a meeting with the Controller of Examination who assured us that examinations and evaluation will be held on time but they failed to ensure it"", Gupta said.
