Govt school teachers face music after surprise checks

Surprise checks were held in 141 schools today and 18 teachers were found absent, 62 were late and 27 teachers were on long leave.

An inquiry had been ordered by the state government.

A total 107 teachers has been issued show-cause notice in this regard, an official spokesman said here.
