Man beaten to death by 5 cousins over land dispute

: A man was allgedly beaten to death today by his five cousins over a land dispute at a village near Tiruchengode in the district, police said.

The man's wife, in her complaint to police, alleged that the relatives had quarrelled with her husband over a piece of land last night and badly beat him up early this morning.

The 27-year-old man was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.

All five of them were later nabbed, police said.
