Medium sugar edges down on lower demand

Medium sugar prices moved down marginally at the Vashi wholesale market today due to lack of demand from stockists and retailers.

While, small sugar held steady in the absence of any buying activity.

Medium sugar (M-30) went down by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,212/3,370 as against Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,212/3,372.

Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,090/3,205.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,212/3,370 (Rs 3,212/3,372).
