Teen girl washed away in Reasi district

A 16-year-old girl was today washed away while crossing Nandoli Badhora river in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Another minor girl, who was also caught in the flowing water, was rescued with minor injuries, they said.

Binash Malik alias Mumtaz was swept away. Her body was later found, police said, adding Fozia Akhtar (15), who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment.
