Woman commits suicide over family dispute in Uttar Pradesh

A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance over a family dispute in Jaroda village here, police said today.

The woman was taken to a local hospital yesterday, where she was declared brought dead, Mansurpur police station in- charge R K Sharma said.

Th police is investigating the matter, he added.

In a similar incident, a 27-year-old woman attempted to commit suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in Begrajpur village over a family dispute, the police said.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where her condition is stated to be critical, they added.
