Woman immolated by in-laws over dowry

Charred body of Vandana Singh, who was married six months ago, was found in her room in Rehari village this morning, they said.

Vandana's father-in-law was arrested following an FIR lodged by her father who alleged that she was being harassed for dowry, police said.

Efforts are on to trace his husband Piyush and other family members, they said.
