Honda Training Its Heads

Honda Motor has opened a training centre for its dealers at its Greater Noida factory. The centre, called Honda International Training and Education Centre (HITEC) was inaugurated by Honda Motor Company chairman Y Munekuni. HITEC is a facility which has been set up within the factory premises of Honda Siel Cars India Ltd to impart training and education to the associates of Honda Exclusive Authorised Dealers (HEADs). The training covers areas of sales, service, spare parts, human resources development, and aspects of business management. The showroom area within HITEC has the companys launch vehicle - the Honda City - on display. It also has a service area and a spares area. The faculty at the centre consists of specialists from Honda Motor Co, Japan, and a few drawn from the companys Indian vendor network.
