`We don`t expect to make money from India for five years`

The social-networking site is penetrating the South Korean and Indian markets, adding music downloads and user-specific promotions. Amit Kapur, its 26-year-old chief operating officer, was recently in India to launch the Indian chapter.
He told Priyanka Joshi how the company intends make a dent in the overcrowded social media segment and create new revenue segments. Excerpts:
How do you plan to grow MySpace in India?
MySpace India should be a fast-growing entity. Though we realise the limitations of PC penetration and social media habits of Indians, MySpace will be as Indian as users want it to be.
Emphasis will be laid on building a better open platform. We would be differentiating ourselves by offering streaming music
