24/7 Customer to add 1,000 employees in Hyderabad

24/7 Customer, a global supplier of integrated customer lifecycle management services, has announced that it will increase its employee headcount in Hyderabad by 1,000 by March 2007. At present, the company employs close to 1,000 people at its Hyderabad facility.

Inaugurated in November 2005, 24/7 Customer's facility in Hyderabad, spread over 90,000 sq feet, provides customer and tech support to its customers.

"Hyderabad provides a huge talent pool of professionals, which we would like to leverage and aggressively recruit at all levels. The infrastructure in Hyderabad is dynamic that meets the changing demands and exponential growth of the industry," S Nagarajan, founder and chief operations officer of 24/7 Customer, said in a press release.

24/7 Customer also unveiled 24/7 Ascend, a partnership programme for the academia that is designed to demystify the BPO industry for the student community and make them better prepared for a career in BPO.

24/7 Customer employs over 7,000 professionals across its offices in India, US and UK and the seven delivery centres in India, Philippines and Guatemala.
