HCL sets up centre for Augmentix

HCL Technologies has announced that it is setting up a dedicated design centre for product engineering services in Bangalore for Augmentix Corporation, a global supplier of mission critical solutions for rugged environments.

HCL has been delivering value engineering for a range of services including concept design, detailed engineering and analysis, prototyping, testing and certification.

This new dedicated centre will allow HCL to build on the range of services provided to Augmentix by working on next-generation server platforms and new initiatives.

"As we continue to evolve our technology roadmap to meet the growing demand for more durable, highly available computing solutions, HCL will play an important role through compressed time to market development and cost efficiencies," said Ahmad Chamseddine, vice president of operations , Augmentix Corporation.

HCL will dedicate an area within their facilities based in Bangalore to service Augmentix Corporation.
