IntelliGroup in $24-million deal with Danish firm

Hyderabad-based IntelliGroup has signed a seven-year $24-million infrastructure outsourcing contract with Royal Greenland, a Danish seafood major.
 
Announcing this here today, Vikram Gulati, president and chief executive officer of IntelliGroup, an enterprise solutions provider, said his company would provide complete IT operations support, including infrastructure and server management and desktop support for Royal Greenland's global locations.
 
According to him, the company will use its onsite and offshore delivery model to provide these services.
 
The $125-million IntelliGroup has 2,000 employees of which 1,400 professionals are working at its Hyderabad centre. The IT company has also started its operations from Bangalore besides having its presence in countries like US and Japan.
 
The company describes itself as a vertically-run ERP focused lifecycle management entity, which also undertakes advisory consultancy and system integration.
 
According to Gulati, the company has been ranked in the leader category, and listed as one of the world's top outsourcing service providers on 'The Global Outsourcing 100 list' prepared by The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals.
