Castor seed prices dip by Rs 2 on muted demand

Castor seed prices dipped by Rs 2 to Rs 5,250 per quintal in futures trade Monday after investors widened their bets amid firm trends. At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castor seed for April was trading lower by Rs 2, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs Rs 5,250 per quintal. Castor seed for far-month May, however, rose by Rs 16, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 5,324 per quintal, having an open interest of 3,200 lots.

Pradhan launches guidelines for setting up of DODO CNG stations

Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday launched the general guidelines for the setting up of Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) CNG stations in India.The guidelines were launched on the sidelines of the 13th edition of Petrotech 2019 in the presence of heads and senior officials of all major organisations in the oil and gas sector including city gas distribution companies through the release of a booklet.Speaking on the occasion, the union minister reiterated the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a gas-based economy and said, "Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has been redefined and is providing excellent regulatory support for the operators in the sector. Motherson Sumi's Q3 profit rises to Rs 389 crore
