The makers of the film 'Sooryavanshi,' starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, have finally started shooting of the film today.Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted a picture of the actors from the "Cop Universe" of Rohit Shetty and wrote, "Rohit Shetty's cop universe... IFTDA appeals Godrej to make 'Raj Kapoor museum' at RK studio land
Indian Film and Television Director's Association (IFTDA) has appealed to Godrej Properties to build Raj Kapoor Museum on the site of iconic RK Studios days after the realty firm announced the acquisition of the land in Chembur. Godrej is planning to develop mixed-use project housing luxury flats and retail space on the land. "It is our humble appeal to you on behalf of the film industry in general... To spare some area from the 33000 sq mtrs for Raj Kapoor's museum which will refresh memories of Raj Kapoor for the coming generation," a statement from IFTDA read. Actor Neena Gupta has joined Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop-drama "Sooryavanshi" and will be seen playing Akshay Kumar's mother. Neena, who has been on a roll with critically acclaimed films like "Badhaai Ho" and "Mulk", is kicked to be a part of a big commercial movie as it will reach a wider audience. "I am feeling good and I'm very excited mainly because this kind of big commercial cinema is seen by a lot of people. Top Australian DJ Adam Sky has died in an accident while vacationing in Bali, Indonesia. The 42-year-old music producer was severely injured while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple injuries. The news of his demise was shared on his official Facebook page. "It is with great regret that we can confirm Adam Neat was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple fractures in Bali on Saturday May 4, 2019. 'Stranger Things' lawsuit dropped a day before trial
Filmmaker Charlie Kessler has dropped the idea theft lawsuit against Matt and Ross Duffer on the eve of the trial, accepting that the brothers' concept for the Netflix show "Stranger Things" was their brain child. In an statement issued to The Hollywood Reporter, Kessler said the Duffers "independently created the show". "After hearing the deposition testimony this week of the legal expert I hired, it is now apparent to me that, whatever I may have believed in the past, my work had nothing to do with the creation of Stranger Things'. "Documents from 2010 and 2013 prove that the Duffers independently created their show. As a result, I have withdrawn my claim and I will be making no further comment on this matter," he said. It is raining leaks in the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" as the fourth episode of the HBO series found its way on the Internet hours ahead of its premiere. According to The Wrap, clips from the new episode, which airs Sunday at 9 pm Eastern Time in the US, leaked in Thailand a few hours ago, claimed a Reddit user. The user also shared an image claiming it to be from the latest chapter. Several clips also found their way to Twitter and YouTube, some of which were quickly removed.
