Actor-director Jon Favreau says "Avengers: Endgame" star Robert Downey Jr deserves an Oscar for his performance in the film. The 52-year-old filmmaker and the 54-year-old actor are credited for kick-starting Marvel Cinematic Universe with 2008 blockbuster "Iron Man". Actor Margot Robbie has defended her decision to work with Quentin Tarantino in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", saying it was her "life-long dream" to collaborate with the critically-acclaimed filmmaker. The film, which also features Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, is Tarantino's first release since actor Uma Thurman revealed in February 2018 that she nearly died in a car crash on the sets of "Kill Bill". Thurman had said that she suffered severe injuries after she was pressured into driving a stunt car she did not feel comfortable operating on the sets of Tarantino's film. Actor Penn Badgley says the fame that came his way after his breakout role in "Gossip Girl" was "boring" for him. The actor recently appeared on Variety's Actor on Actor series with Gina Rodriguez and the two talked about the perils of fame during their discussion. "It's boring to me. I have an acronym for it that I just came up with. It's f***ing awful, man, extremely. You're dancing on a razor's edge," Badgley said when Rodriguez asked about the "Gossip Girl". The 32-year-old actor played Dan Humphrey on The CW show across six seasons, a role which brought him both the critics adulation and fan following. Noted journalist, writer and activist Syed Feroze Ashraf (77) died after being hit by an autorickshaw outside his home in Jogeshwari on Friday night, a family member said. Ashraf was well-known for his column Pakistannama, which appeared in several noted Hindi and Urdu publications, and was a winner of the Maharashtra State Urdu Sahitya Academy award for outstanding contribution to journalism. A former employee of the Indian Oil Corporation, Ashraf used to teach Press Law to students pursuing Urdu journalism from Mumbai University. Known as a progressive writer among peers, Ashraf's columns enthralled readers for over three decades. Hailing from Bihar, he also taught Urdu to students for free.
