A majority of employers in the services sector are keen to expand their workforce in the third quarter of this fiscal, according to a report. Around 73 per cent of employers are eager to increase their resource pool this quarter, according to TeamLease Services 'Employment Outlook Report for Q3 (October to December 2022) for the services sector. The 'TeamLease Employment Outlook Report' is based on a survey of 579 service companies in 14 cities across the country. The report further stated that in the services segment, the key sectors expressing a higher intent are information technology (96 per cent), educational services (95 per cent), e-commerce and allied start-ups (92 per cent), telecommunications (90 per cent), retail (79 per cent), financial services (78 per cent) and logistics (75 per cent). As the demand for services has increased post the pandemic, large firms (79 per cent), medium-sized firms (45 per cent) and small firms (57 per cent) have all mustered a strong hiring .

IT company HCL Technologies plans to hire 1,300 people in Mexico over the next two years, according to a statement. The move is expected to strengthen its current employee base of 2,400 people in that country. HCL Tech outlined its expansion plans in Mexico at its 14-year anniversary celebration at Guadalajara, in Mexico and said "the company expects to hire 1,300 people in the next two years". The IT firm will also be opening its sixth technology center in Guadalajara. Gujarat-based Goldi Solar is planning to invest Rs 5,000 crore by 2025 to expand its module manufacturing capacity to 6 gigawatt, the company's Managing Director Ishver Dholakiya said on Monday. At present, the total module manufacturing capacity of its plants in Pipodara and Navsari, Gujarat is 2.5 gigawatt (GW), Dholakiya told reporters during a press conference here. "We have plans to infuse over Rs 5,000 crore as part of expansion plans to increase module manufacturing from 2.5 GW to 6 GW," he said while launching HELOC Plus (high-efficiency low on carbon) module series with Heterojunction technology.
