Covid-19: Kerala reports 310 new cases in last 24 hours

Kerala reported 310 new cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths on Sunday, taking the total number of the infected to 65,33,786 and the death toll to 68,074 till date. Of the eight deaths, two occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents and six were designated as COVID-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court, the Health Department said. Among the districts, Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 83 followed by Thiruvananthapuram (66) and Thrissur (30). A total of 458 people recovered today. The department said there were 2,680 active cases.

Covid-19: Kerala records 400 fresh cases, 25 deaths in 24 hours

Kerala on Sunday recorded 400 fresh infections which raised the total to 65,31,090 till date. The southern State reported also 25 deaths which raised the hitherto tally to 67,797, according to an official press release. Of the deaths, three occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents and 22 were designated as COVID-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court, the release said. No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, it said. With 593 more people recovering from the virus since Saturday, the total recoveries until now was 64,58,586 and the active cases dropped to 3,833, the release said. Covid-19: Kerala records 596 fresh cases, 24 deaths in last 24 hours

Kerala on Sunday recorded 596 fresh COVID-19 infections which raised the total caseload to 65,27,194. The southern State reported 24 deaths and took the fatalities to 67,339 so far, according to an official press release. Of the deaths, four occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents and 20 were designated as COVID-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court, the release said. No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, it said. With 908 more people recovering from the virus since Saturday, the total recoveries reached 64,53,172 and the active cases dropped to 5,812, the release said.
