Three minor girls were raped in different parts of Rajasthan, including one in Alwar where the family members of the victim lynched one of the three accused, the police said on Saturday. Aged around 15 years, the girl was allegedly gang raped by three minors on May 14 in Hasraura village under Sadar Police Station of Alwar where the girl had gone to attend a relative's marriage. "While one of the accused managed to flee, the other two were caught by the victims' family members and thrashed the next morning... Few hours later, one of them was found dead on the roadside," SP Paris Anil Deshmukh said. "The family members of the victim and the deceased have lodged separate FIRs. The mother of the girl lodged an FIR against the three accused, the family members of the deceased registered a case of murder against the girl's brother and others," he added. A 23-year-old man was shot at multiple times and critically injured by a group of men in Rohini here on Saturday, police said. Mohit was attacked around 6:30 am when he along with his three friends were sitting in a car, a senior police officer said. Four men in a vehicle pulled up alongside Mohit's car and one of them got out and pointed a gun at the victim, he said. Though the victim's friends managed run away, Mohit, who was slow-footed, was chased by the armed man and his accomplices, police said. Mohit ran towards a colony in Sector -11 and was shot at multiple times. He suffered injuries and is admitted at a city hospital, the officer said, adding that his condition is critical. The perpetrators, who have been identified, fired 15-14 rounds, he said. The officer said a police and forensic team have inspected the spot and Mohit's friends are being questioned. It is suspected to be a case of personal enmity, police said.
A youth was beaten to death here by relatives of a minor who alleged that the boy along with his two friends had raped the girl on May 14.Three people including Lokesh, a resident of Bagheri Khurd, Ramvir, a resident of Dev Haran and the dead accused Rahul, allegedly raped a minor after they came to attend a wedding in Devnath village. A former official of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was Friday sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment on charges of spying for China. The former official, Kevin Mallory, was convicted under the Espionage Act for selling classified US "defense information" to a Chinese intelligence agent for USD 25,000. "Former US Intelligence officer Mallory will spend the next 20 years of his life in prison for conspiring to pass national defense information to a Chinese intelligence officer," Assistant Attorney General John Demers said. This case is one in an alarming trend of former US intelligence officers being targeted by China and betraying their country and colleagues, he said. "This sentence, together with the recent guilty pleas of Ron Hansen in Utah and Jerry Lee in Virginia, deliver the stern message that our former intelligence officers have no business partnering with the Chinese, or any other adversarial foreign intelligence service," Demers said. A Chinese court on Friday handed a five and half year prison sentence to a 70-year-old Japanese man on charges of espionage, as per Japan's Foreign Ministry.The Japanese man was detained in March 2017 in China's Shandong province, according to NHK. He had reportedly gone to the region to conduct surveys for hot spring development at the invitation of a Chinese company.Apart from the prison sentence, the man was also ordered to pay 4,300 US dollars.The exact allegations against the man are not known. However, the Chinese state media in 2017 reported that the unidentified Japanese national had carried out surveys without the government's permission.Nine Japanese nationals have been charged for spying by China after anti-espionage laws took effect in 2014. Out of them, six have been given prison sentences.Five other Japanese were detained in connection with the surveys, out of which four were released while one was indicted.
Prosecutors say they have found 18 bags of human remains and tools used to dismember bodies at a farm in the western Mexico state of Jalisco. State prosecutors don't have a count of the bodies. Containers found at the farm that could also hold more. Officials said Friday they found tools, presumably saws, used to dismember bodies as well as tubs with red stains in them. Soldiers raided the farm when a man escaped and said he had been held at the farm. Two other bound captives were also found and three of their alleged captors were arrested. Over the weekend, authorities discovered the remains of 34 people at two separate properties in Jalisco. Since December 1, authorities have found 222 burial pits and 337 sets of human remains nationwide.

The husband and in-laws of a woman were booked on charges of dowry death after she allegedly committed suicide here, police said Friday. The victim, Pinki, got married to Happy Sharma, a resident of Sadar Pur village, on February 23 in 2017, said SP (city) Shlok Kumar. According to a complaint lodged by Pinki's father Sanjay Sharma, her in-laws were torturing her for dowry. "I gave them Rs 1 lakh thrice but even then they were not happy. Last night, her father in-law Satya praksh informed me that my daughter has committed suicide," said the victim's father.
