Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL) on Monday said it has inked an initial pact to collaborate with FSR Global to advance smart grid innovation and policy research. TP Solar bags Rs 632 cr order to supply 292.5 MWp solar modules from Seci

Tata Power on Thursday said that its solar manufacturing arm TP Solar has secured an order worth Rs 632 crore for the supply of 292.5 MWp solar modules from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project is awarded under the CPSU Scheme Tranche-III, a Tata Power statement said. The contract, valued at approximately Rs 632 crore, entails the delivery of high-quality DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) modules to the designated site in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh, it added. The project is part of SECI's larger 400 MWp tender, which underwent a competitive bid submission process followed by an e-Reverse Auction. The contract includes a total scope of 400 MWp DCR Modules, of which TP Solar has secured 292.5 MWp. The preferred delivery timeline for the project is set from October 2025 to January 2026, spanning a duration of four months.

Electric commercial vehicle maker Euler Motors on Monday said it has tied up with Tata Power Renewables for fast chargers. As per the long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Tata Power Renewables will provide fast chargers for the customers of Euler Motors, the company said in a statement. With this, Euler Motors customers will be able to access fast chargers at important high demand locations along their daily routes, it added. The company customers will receive smart cards, allowing seamless and easy access to Tata Power Renewables charging stations, Euler Motors stated. ONGC, Tata Power Renewable sign pact on battery storage solutions

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Wednesday signed an initial pact with Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd to explore collaborative opportunities in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) value chain. Tata Power-DDL secures 17 convictions for power theft in last 9 months

As part of its ongoing crackdown on power pilferage, the Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has secured 17 convictions in electricity theft cases between April 2024 and January 2025. The efforts to curb power theft have led to the conviction of 78 people in north and northwest Delhi under Section 135 of the Electricity Act since 2007, with courts imposing heavy fines on offenders, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) said in a statement. Taking stringent action against electricity theft, Tata Power-DDL filed criminal cases against offenders in the Special Electricity Court, Rohini. Acknowledging the severity of these cases, the court handed down convictions, reinforcing the discom's commitment to preventing power theft and protecting the interests of law-abiding consumers, the company said.
