Pearson invests in Experifun

Pearson has announced a seed investment of Rs 1.6 crore in Experifun, a Bangalore-based firm allowing teachers and students to conduct science experiments and activities via kits in the classroom.
The investment was made through the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund, a fund established in 2012 to support early-stage education enterprises and entrepreneurs creating learning solutions. The investment builds on PALF's commitment to Experifun as one of the two winners of the PALF's 2013 Edupreneurs programme.
Edupreneurs is business incubator programme that invests in entrepreneurs focused on products and services, which tries to improve outcomes and access to education for learners from economically weaker sections.
