ESC to launch portal in Japanese

In a bid to tap into Japan, the world's second-largest economy after the US, ESC is in the process of launching a portal dedicated to the IT market there, whereby the list of Indian IT companies can be hosted or even place orders, all in the Japanese language.

"We already have 500 professionals trained in Japanese language and are enlarging this further. We plan to launch the portal within six months," ESC chairman Sanjiv Narayan said, adding that the council's proposed incubation centre in the Montgomery county US, would commence on April 2008.
