Rs 36 cr grant for nine tehsils under PMGSY

A grant of Rs 36.34 crore has been sanctioned for developing infrastructure in nine talukas of the district under 'Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana' (PMGSY), Maharashtra PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said today. The funds will be utilised for construction of small and big-size bridges and development of roads in talukas of Trimbakeshwar, Nashik, Igatpuri among others, Bhujbal who is also the district Guardian Minister said in a statement.

The state Rural Roads Development Organisation has undertaken various projects in Malegaon, Pen, Surgana, Kalwan, Nandgaon, Chandvad, Trimbakeshwar, Nashik and Igatpuri, the release said.
