Sensex down 107pts; Bharti Airtel, DLF weak

The NSE Nifty is down 23 points at 5,169.

Jaiprakash Associates has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 276. Reliance Energy has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 1,475.

Bharti Airtel, DLF and Maruti have dropped nearly 2.5% each to Rs 872, Rs 688 and Rs 766, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 2% to Rs 664. Wipro, Infosys and HDFC have shed over 1.5% each at Rs 482, Rs 1,759 and Rs 2,670, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors and ACC are down over 1% each at Rs 3,094, Rs 677 and Rs 749, respectively.

Cipla and ITC have surged 2% each to Rs 220 and Rs 225, respectively.

 

ONGC and Tata Steel have gained 1.3% each at Rs 1,053 and Rs 813, respectively.
