Sugar ends mixed in lacklustre trade

Sugar prices displayed a mixed pattern of trading at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to uneven demand and supply coupled with alternate bouts of buying and selling. 

Medium sugar quality (M-30) edged up by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,720/2,791 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 2,716/2,791.

Small sugar quality (S-30), however eased by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,700/2,736, as against Rs 2,700/ 2,741 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,700/2,736 (Rs 2,700/ 2,741) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,720/2,791 (Rs 2,716/2,791)
