The wreckage of a missing private plane that was carrying 13 people has been found in a mountainous area in Mexico's Coahuila, the state's public security department said.Authorities conducted an aerial survey to find the plane which was found in a remote area near Ocampo, CNN reported.All the 13 bodies were found at the site.Officials launched a massive search of the plane which went missing since May 5 while it was on its way to Monterrey from Las Vegas, said Coahuila Governor Miguel Riquelme.Authorities said that a flight plan showed that 10 passengers and three crew members were aboard the ill-fated jet.Riquelme said that the plane lost contact and disappeared from radars after flying over Monclova city, situated nearly 180 km north-west of Monterrey.The aircraft was identified as a Challenger 601 jet manufactured by Canada's Bombardier Inc.The reason for the crash is yet to be ascertained.
An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale jolted off the coast of Peru on Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.The quake hit a depth of 10 km and took place at 1:47 pm (UTC time). The epicentre of the quake was located 69 kilometres south of Minas de Marcona, according to USGS.There were no reports of any casualties, injuries or damage to property. A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army made an emergency landing in an open field in Nagaon due to a technical snag.The chopper was flying towards Missamari from Dimapur on Wednesday when the incident happened. All three crew members are reported to be safe."There was a minor technical problem due to which the chopper was forced to land in an open field. It happened at around 7:45 am. Nothing happened to the ones sitting inside the chopper," Sub-Inspector Jyoti Bora said while commenting on the incident.

A bus ferrying six children caught fire after it came in contact with an overhead power cable on Wednesday.The driver fled the spot while the children were rescued by local residents.A bike was also gutted in the fire.Local residents alleged that they have approached the authorities in the matter but all in vain."I submitted the application on Tuesday and have been calling the officials. Hundreds of commuters had to face massive traffic jam when they spotted a four-foot-wide hole at the Hero Honda Chowk flyover on National Highway-8 on Wednesday morning. The flyover was thrown open for public in 2016 to ease traffic on the highly-congested stretch. This is third occasion when the flyover was shut due such incidents, putting a serious question mark over the quality of construction. During inspection, it appeared that thin iron bars, lower-quality concrete materials and thin layers of charcoal are clearly visible on the road. "We have received information about a hole that appeared on Hero Honda Chowk flyover around 5 am. Subsequently, road safety staffs rushed at the spot and blocked the road. The matter was informed to us and repairing of the affected area will start soon, Ashok Sharma, superintending engineer of NHAI, said. Four people were killed and as many injured in a collision between two vehicles in the district Wednesday, police said. A car and a jeep collided head on under the jurisdiction of Lathi police station killing four people, they said, adding the injured have been hospitalised. The bodies were handed over to their family after post-mortem, police said.

At least 20 people were injured after a train collided with a truck in northern Germany's Rendsburg on Wednesday morning.The mishap occurred at the level crossing in Alt Duvenstedt, according to Xinhua.The truck driver fled before the collision as the train was partially derailed due to the impact as per a statement by the federal police.Out of the injured, three people are in critical condition. A Singapore Airlines plane, carrying 228 people, Wednesday made an emergency landing at the airport in the national capital after suffering a glitch with its nose wheel, an official said. The aircraft -- A380-800 -- from Singapore suffered some problem with its nose wheel and was towed away to the terminal, according to a passenger onboard. The official said full emergency was declared for SG 406 Singapore-Delhi flight having 228 people on board and the plane landed safely. According to the passenger, there was apparently "loss of steering capacity" for the plane, which also aborted landing once. The plane made a hard landing and stopped on the runway, he added.

Eleven people were injured as a plane slid off a runway while landing at Yangon airport in Myanmar Wednesday, police said, as a freak storm hit the city. Images on Facebook showed a crumpled Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane lying on the grass at the side of the runway. An AFP photographer saw an injured woman being carried to an ambulance on a stretcher. "One pilot, an air hostess and nine passengers were slightly injured," a police officer at the airport told AFP, asking not to be named, adding that the plane slid from the runway as it landed at 6.50pm (local time). Five people, including three children, were seriously injured in a blast at an illegal cracker unit at Sattur in the district Wednesday, police said. The blast occcured due to friction when chemicals were being mixed, they said. Three houses were gutted in the fire, police said, adding fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
