Hugh Grant believes he is 'too old' to act in rom-coms
Actor Hugh Grant, who married his girlfriend Anna Eberstein last year, believes that he is no longer young enough for rom-coms and regrets his decision to act in those films."Well, yes, but less now because I've gotten too old and ugly and fat to do them anymore, so now I've done other things, and I've got marginally less self-hatred," Grants answered on being asked if he had an inferiority complex, during The Hollywood Reporter's drama actor round table.Despite having a great career and a huge fan base, the actor regrets his decisions to work in rom-coms."Every decision I ever made was probably wrong. 'Mental Hai Kya' director rubbishes reports of Kangana's interference
Director of "Mental Hai Kya", Prakash Kovelamudi, has rubbished reports of actor Kangana Ranaut interfering with the project and called all the rumours "baseless." There were reports that Kangana has been interfering with the shooting of the film and was unhappy with some of the scenes, which had to be re-shot, thus causing the delay in the release of the movie. In a statement released by the makers, Prakash said on his set, "Kangana was an actor; a professional one, and a creative asset." Singer Marc Anthony is the latest addition to the cast of "In the Heights" movie adaptation. Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter to share the news. "Sonny's father will be played by Marc Anthony. It's a brief but pivotal role And I still can't believe it," Miranda wrote. Anthony joins already-confirmed cast members including, Anthony Ramos as bodega owner Usnavi, a role Miranda played on Broadway. Corey Hawkins will play the role of Benny, Gregory Diaz IV will take on the part of Sonny. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actor Ayushmann Khurrana's upcoming film "Gulabo Sitabo" is set to release on April 24 next year. The film, directed by Shoojit Sircar, was earlier suppose to hit the theatres in November this year. The movie, set in Lucknow, is billed as a quirky family comedy, penned by Sircar's longtime collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi. They have worked together on "Vicky Donor", "Piku" and his last directorial venture "October". Khurrana teams up with Sircar after the 2012 hit "Vicky Donor", which was the actor's debut in Bollywood. Sircar has previously directed Bachchan in "Piku". "Gulabo Sitabo" is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

'Swamp Thing' cancelled after airing first episode
DC Universe has cancelled its latest series "Swamp Thing" in less than a week after airing its first episode. Set in the swamp lands of Louisiana, the science-fiction series was cancelled on Thursday. The series had undergone a cut in its order from 13 episodes to 10. The remaining episodes shall stream on the platform, but will not be followed by another season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, creative differences were the cause of the reduced run. Actor Crystal Reed plays Abby Arcane, a CDC scientist who returns to her Louisiana hometown to investigate a strange disease ravaging the bayous. The series also has Andy Bean playing Alec Holland and Derek Mears as Alec's Swamp Thing alter ego. Showrunners Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman adapted the Len Wein/Bernie Wrightson comic for the series. They are also the executive producers on the show with Len Wiseman, who directed the first episode. James Wan and Michael Clear are also serving executive producers on the show.

The famous Korean band BTS, which is currently on the 2019 BTS Festa have received an invitation along with 1,340 others to join the Recording Academy, which presents the Grammys for excellence in music.The invitation to call BTS is part of the massive drive to some members who can help in diversifying the membership along gender, racial and age lines, and BTS is known to fulfil two out of the three, according to Billboard.In the last one year, the academy has made a reach to potential new members for the second time.
