Camila Cabello to appear as 'Cinderella' in February 2021

Fans waiting to see singer-songwriter, Camila Cabello, in and as 'Cinderella', will have to wait a bit longer. The release date of the film has been set for February 5, 2021.The iconic reimagining of the classic fairy tale is being helmed by 'Blockers' fame writer-director Kay Cannon. Cannon is known for writing the 'Pitch Perfect' musical comedies and got her start by working on NBC's '30 Rock', for which she earned three Emmy nominations. She made her directorial debut with 'Blockers'.Actor and television host James Corden will produce the film with his partner at Fulwell73, Leo Pearlman.The idea for the new take on Cinderella came from an original idea from Corden. 'Mrs. Doubtfire' musical to premiere in November

A new musical rendition of Robin Williams' 1993 classic "Mrs Doubtfire" is set to hit the stage this November. Producer Kevin McCollum announced Thursday that performances will start at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre on November 26 with opening night scheduled for December 13. According to Variety, the show will have a limited run until December 29. The production will be directed by four-time Tony award winning director Jerry Zaks, while Lorin Latarro will serve as the choreographer. Tony-nominated music writing team Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick are creating the tunes with Ethan Popp attached as music supervisor. Barack and Michelle Obama sign deal to produce podcasts for Spotify

Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama have signed a deal to produce a series of podcasts for music streaming platform Spotify. Under the multiyear deal between Spotify and the couples' Higher Ground Productions, the duo are set to develop, produce, and lend their voices to select podcasts on a various of topics. According to Variety, the deal is with Higher Ground Audio, a new division of the Higher Ground production company. Actor Kevin Hart who recently wrapped up shooting for the sequel to the 2017 hit film 'JumanjiThe film is based on the true story of an author and is an adaptation of Matt Logelin's best seller 'Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love'. Peter Dinklage in talks to star opposite Rosamund Pike in 'I Care a Lot'

Actor Peter Dinklage is in negotiations to co-star with Rosamund Pike in thriller "I Care a Lot". If things work out, this will be Dinklage's first acting gig post the final season of HBO's epic fantasy drama "Game of Thrones". J Blakeson is directing the film from his own script, reported Variety. The shooting is scheduled to begin later this month. Pike will essay the role of Marla Grayson, a highly successful legal guardian with a knack for using the law to her benefit and her clients' detriment. But when she cherry picks her seemingly perfect client, she soon realises looks are deceiving. Dinklage's role is being kept under wraps.
