'Kingsman 3' will freak out fans: Matthew Vaughn

Director Matthew Vaughn says fans should expect the unexpected from the upcoming third movie in the "Kingsman" franchise. Fox Studios announced the film last September with Vaughn attached as writer and director. "People will either freak out in a good way, or freak out in a bad way, but they will freak out. You can expect the unexpected is all I'll say... we're literally finishing the script off as I speak but they go on a journey that, if anyone sees it coming, then I'll give up," he told The Playlist. The director said he is planning to start production on the film later this year, with an expected release date of 2021. Vaughn added that if people like the film, the makers would want to come up with "more Kingsman movies in the franchise". Ben Kingsley reveals inspiration for 'Iron Man 3' role

Veteran actor Ben Kingsley has revealed he based his controversial character of Mandarin from "Iron Man 3" on people he met during his time at Royal Shakespeare Company, London. Kingsley made his foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the 2013 film, led by Robert Downey Jr. He played a British actor called Trevor Slattery whom antagonist Killian (Guy Pearce) hires to portray the Mandarin, leader of an international terrorist organisation the Ten Rings. "I did base him on some of the actors I rubbed shoulders with in the Royal Shakespeare Company... "It is his finest hour. It is his greatest performance. I think, in all humility, I must say that Trevor is quite a splendid actor," the Oscar winning actor told GQ magazine. Actor Kriti Sanon says she never compared herself with star kids as she was treated "equally" in her debut "Heropanti" opposite Tiger Shroff. "I don't think I compared myself with star kids. Miley Cyrus groped by fan in Barcelona, singer felt 'unsettled' after incident

Pop star Miley Cyrus was groped and kissed by a male fan during an outing with husband, actor Liam Hemsworth, in Barcelona, Spain. The former Disney star was grabbed by her hair by a stranger who threw an arm around her neck to pull her in for a kiss. The video of the incident, which happened over the weekend, showed Cyrus, 26, trying to avoid physical contact with the man and as her security team stepped in to intervene. Hemsworth, 29, was also spotted wrapping his arm around his wife and trying to save her from any other inappropriate behaviour as they headed to their car. A source close to the singer told E! 'Dead to Me' renewed for second season

Dark comedy series "Dead to Me" will return for a season two at Netflix. According to Entertainment Weekly, creator Liz Feldman made the announcement at a panel with the cast on Monday. "Dead to Me" revolves around "a powerful friendship that blossoms between Jen, a tightly wound widow, and Judy, a free spirit with a shocking secret". The show's leads Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will both reprise their roles as Jen and Judy, respectively. Feldman teased plans for a potential sophomore installment recently. Barry Jenkins to direct biopic based on Alvin Ailey

Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins is all set to treat his fans with his next project--a biopic about the late legendary choreographer and dancer Alvin Ailey.Fox Searchlight first announced the upcoming project in March, last year, saying it had the support of the Ailey Organisation, reported Variety.Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is producing the film with Susan Lewis, along with Judy Kinberg, Rachel Cohen, and Jana Edelbaum.Apart from donning the director's hat, Jenkins will also serve as an executive producer alongside Edelbaum and Lewis. Julian Breece is writing the script for the movie.The upcoming project includes the rights to Jennifer Dunning's biography 'Alvin Ailey: A Life in Dance'.
