Seems like all is not well between American singer Noah Cyrus and boyfriend Lil Xan.The Musical couple has sparked rumours of a potential breakup with their latest Instagram stories. Venkaiah Naidu to speak in US to commemorate Vivekananda's Chicago speech
In his first visit to the US as vice president, M Venkaiah Naidu will address people of Indian origin in Chicago at an event to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's speech at the Parliament of Religions in 1893. The event will be held on the last day of the World Hindu Congress, which begins on September 7 and ends September 9. "The vice president is coming to the programme organised to commemorate the 125th anniversary speech of Swami Vivekananda in Chicago in 1893," convener, WHC, Abhaya Asthana, said on Monday. The WHC, held every four years, is expected to be attended by over 2,500 Hindus from more than 80 countries and is being organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad America. Unlike the WHC for which participants have to pre-register, the event to commemorate Vivekanada's speech is open to the public. PGTI names city leg after Jeev Milkha Singh
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) has honoured ace Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh by naming a tournament, Take Open Golf Championship, after him. The Chandigarh leg of the domestic PGTI Tour will henceforth be called the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational Presented by Take Solutions. With this feat, Jeev become the first player in the history of Indian golf to have a tournament named after him. The tournament will be played at the Chandigarh Golf Club, Jeev's home club, from November 1 to 4 and will offer an enhanced prize purse of Rs 1.5 crores. Kangaroo on the loose in Austria
A kangaroo is on the loose and has been spotted in forests and meadows in Austria, police said Monday. The animal -- not a native to the central European country -- has been seen numerous times since late last week in Hellmonsoedt district in Upper Austria state. Police, who have identified it to be a kangaroo from photos and videos they received, are trying to find out who the animal belongs to. "We have called all the zoos and kangaroo breeders around us, but no one is missing a kangaroo. We hope the owner will come forward," a Hellmonsoedt police official, who declined to be named, told AFP. "It sounds unbelievable, but it's true." Police cannot say what breed the kangaroo is but believe there is little to worry about for now -- the kangaroo is a "shy animal" so is unlikely to cause any damage, and "its survival chances (in the wild) are perfect", the official said. Jilted lover stabs woman to death, injures her mother in Raj
A 22-year-old jilted lover stabbed to death a woman and also injured her mother when she tried to protect her daughter in their house here, police said Monday. Shakil Khan entered the house of Mohammad Shahid where his wife Akhtar Bano (45) and daughter Khushnasiba Bano (21) were present Sunday evening, they said. He stabbed Khushnasiba and when her mother tried to protect her, he stabbed Akhtar also, the police said. Khushnasiba succumbed to her injuries at the SMS hospital here, while her mother is undergoing treated and stated to be out of danger now, police said. "Shakil and Khushnasiba were known to each other for some time. Shakil wanted to marry Khushnasiba but she had denied and therefore he was annoyed with her," Station House Officer of the Galta gate police station, Dharmraj Chaudhary said on Monday. After the incident, the accused escaped but he was caught Sunday night and was placed under arrest, the police said.

Brazil: Massive blaze engulfs 200-year-old National Museum
The 200-year-old National Museum located in Rio de Janeiro was engulfed in a massive fire on Sunday evening (local time), destroying centuries-old artifacts.Firefighters from seven different stations were rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the flames, reported CNN.The historic building belonged to a Portuguese royal family and was converted to a museum 200 years ago. It housed around 20 million artifacts, including varieties of rare exhibits relating to the history of America.Following the incident, Brazilian President Michel Temer said the losses incurred in the fire were too great to be calculated."The loss of the National Museum's collection is insurmountable for Brazil. Two hundred years of work, research and knowledge were lost. This is a sad day for all Brazilians," Temer tweeted.
