Realty firm Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd on Tuesday reported a 99.6 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 0.54 crore in the quarter ended March. Its net profit stood at Rs 137.66 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 270.26 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal from Rs 155.02 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding financial year. During the entire 2022-23 fiscal, the net profit declined to Rs 102.83 crore from Rs 161.71 crore in the previous year. Total income rose to Rs 659.56 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 408.24 crore in the 2021-22 fiscal. Rallis India, a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals, on Tuesday reported a loss of Rs 69.13 crore during the quarter ending March 31. The company had reported a loss of Rs 14.13 crore during the corresponding quarter of 2021-22, Rallis India said in a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations of the company witnessed a growth of 2.97 per cent during the quarter under review at Rs 522.62 crore compared to Rs 507.54 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. For the entire fiscal year 2022-23, the company witnessed a 45.68 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 91.94 crore compared to Rs 164.27 crore in FY22. Global food and beverages major PepsiCo on Tuesday said its Indian unit delivered a "double-digit organic revenue growth" in the first quarter of 2023. It has reported a double-digit growth in the beverage unit volume in the Indian market, PepsiCo said in its global earnings statement. However, in the convenient foods, unit volume experienced a low-single-digit decline in the Indian market in the quarter ended on March 31, 2023. PepsiCo's net revenue in Africa, Middle East, South Asia (AMESA) division, including India, was up 1.49 per cent to USD 1.01 billion as against USD 1 billion, primarily reflecting effective net pricing, partially offset by an organic volume decline. AU Small Finance Bank on Tuesday reported its highest ever quarterly profit of Rs 425 crore in March quarter, up 23 per cent year-on-year. The bank's net profit was Rs 346 crore in the year-ago quarter. It's net profit for the full financial year 2022-23 stood at Rs 1,428 crore, up 26 per cent year-on-year, the lender said in a statement. Bank's asset quality improved with gross NPA at 1.66 per cent in March 2023 as against 1.98 per cent in March 2022.
