Frog Cellsat, a manufacturer of telecom equipment, on Wednesday reported a 59.5 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit at Rs 2.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2025. Its income from operations rose 8.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 48.48 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, the company said in a BSE filing. The maker of telecom equipment, including RF Repeaters, Active DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), in-building coverage solutions, and interference mitigation systems, has guided for a 30 per cent revenue and EBITDA growth rate for FY26, according to a release. For the full year, that is FY25, the net profit was up about 52 per cent to Rs 23.55 crore, from Rs 15.51 crore in the previous fiscal. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the renewable energy arm of NTPC, on Wednesday posted around three-fold rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 233.21 crore in March 2025 quarter, driven by higher income. It had posted a net profit of Rs 80.95 crore in January-March period of preceding 2023-24 financial year, the company said in a filing. NGEL increased its income to Rs 751.50 crore from Rs 553.06 crore in the fourth quarter last fiscal. Expenses stood at Rs 444.63 crore as against Rs 425.84 crore in the same period a year ago. State-owned Power Finance Corporation on Wednesday posted an 11 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 8,357.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, mainly on the back of higher interest income. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 7,556.43 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing. Total income rose to Rs 29,285.45 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 24,176.34 crore in the same period a year ago. The interest income in the quarter rose to Rs 28,676.15 crore from Rs 23,891.19 crore in same period a year ago.
