UP CM urges cooperation as 500,000 devotees visit Ram temple on day one

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure proper crowd management for convenient 'darshan' of Ram Lalla as more than five lakh people visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday, a day after the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. He also appealed to people to cooperate with officials and maintain patience as this would allow everyone to have a darshan of the deity. The doors of the newly constructed temple were opened to the public at 6 am. On the instructions of the chief minister, the Ayodhya district magistrate has deployed magistrates at eight places in the city for crowd management, according to a statement issued by the state government. Information Director Shishir, in another statement, said, "Today, five lakh devotees had a darshan of Ram Lalla." The last entry of visitors was at 10 pm. Indian Hotels Company Ltd announced the signing of the third hotel in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on the day of the Ram temple inauguration. Spread over 1.3 acre, the 150-key brownfield project will be branded as an Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) SeleQtions hotel, the hospitality group said in a statement. "Ayodhya's remarkable transformation to a world-class pilgrimage destination, marked by the inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, is poised to draw an influx of tourists from around the world," IHCL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Puneet Chhatwal said. "We will now offer three distinct brands in Ayodhya of about 400 rooms and we are delighted to collaborate with KM Vyaparfor this SeleQtions hotel," he added. With the addition of this, IHCL will have three hotels across SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Ayodhya.

Hi-Tech Pipes announces scale up plans, aims 1 mn tonne production by FY25

Hi-Tech Pipes on Monday announced plans to scale up its annual production capacity to 10 lakh tonne by 2024-25. At present, the company has five manufacturing units with an installed capacity of 5.80 lakh tonne per annum. "Hi-Tech Pipes Ltd aims for 1 million tonnes capacity by FY25," the company said in a statement. It also announced commissioning of its Sanand unit-II Phase-1 at Gujarat and establishment of new greenfield unit-III at Sikandrabad (UP) and Sanand Unit-II Phase-2. With the latest manufacturing technology and equipment, the company's focus will be on manufacturing of value-added products with proportion in excess of 50 per cent, Hi-Tech Pipes Ltd Chairman & Managing Director Ajay Kumar Bansal said. The Sanand Unit-ll project is equipped for manufacturing of high-end pipes for solar trackers. The company's manufacturing plants are spread across Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
